Day trip to Larisa !

6.10.13
Last week, we went with our friend Vasiliki to our nearby city, called Larisa. We travelled there by train. Such a magical mean of transport to travel with! Arriving there, we walked in the various squares, we entered into clothing and house ware stores and finally headed to the ancient theater of Larisa. We got impressed by the magnificent views. We think that this is the most beautiful place in Larisa, the ancient theater and the little shops and cafés around it! We would definitely live in an apartment at the beautiful building opposite the ancient theatre! We enjoyed our hot chocolate at a New-York styled café called “Las Ramblas”, while outside was raining cats and dogs! Sitting there and watching beautiful people while chatting with our best friend was great! Feeling like the autumn was there…finally! Leaving the café, we walked in the roads of the city. A cold breeze was freezing our hands and faces. After some minutes, the rain -unfortunately- started again. Heading to the train station was a marathon. We had only an umbrella and we were three. Our clothes and hair had gone really wet! Walking in the rain with sandals didn’t make the things easier. Fortunately, we arrived on time at the train station! The great thing about this trip was that we really had the time of our lives. Getting so wet from the rain and walking in roads full of rain water is really exciting when you’re surrounded by good friends!

Till our next post, take care!
