Sunday Brunchin' | Pancakes

unday is for a big and delicious brunch! Sunday means being lazy and cozy under your blankets  until late in the morning. Getting up and running to your kitchen to prepare the most delicious pancakes for you and your boyfriend! Pussyfooting around the kitchen with your warm socks and gathering the ingredients while peeking at your colourful recipe notebook. Trying to be quiet in order not to wake him up! Once the mixture is ready, grab a scoop and pour some of it in the pan. Don't forget to see some bubbles on the pancake and to flip it while it's not totally baked on top. Spread some chocolate on top and sprinkle some icing sugar or serve them with honey and butter! For a special occasion, spread this amazing caramel sauce Bοnne Maman and crack some oreo biscuits on top! Enjoy them at your bed for the absolute Sunday cozy feeling!

Mερέντα Υγείας Παυλίδη. Η ανακάλυψη! Την πρωτοδοκιμάσαμε την περίοδο της νηστείας τη Μ. Εβδομάδα και από τότε έχει αντικαταστήσει το βαζάκι της Μερέντας γάλακτος και της Nutella στην κουζίνα μας. Ιεροσυλία για κάποιους αλλά είναι τόσο νόστιμη, οπότε who cares?! Αρχικά, την περιμέναμε πολύ πικρή επειδή φτιάχνεται από μαύρη σοκολάτα χωρίς γάλα αλλά έχει πολύ ισορροπημένη γεύση. Ούτε υπερβολικά γλυκιά όπως η γάλακτος και χωρίς να σου αφήνει αυτή την πικρή γεύση της κουβερτούρας. Την έχουμε δοκιμάσει σε pancakes, απλωμένη σε ψωμί, με φράουλες και φυσικά σκέτη με το κουτάλι. Θέλουμε να δούμε πως δένει και με άλλα υλικά μέσα σε γλυκές συνταγές. Νέα αγαπημένη προσθήκη στην κουζίνας μας, λοιπόν! Εσείς την έχετε δοκιμάσει; 

Pancakes on a rainy day ☂

 Autumn. Today here in Volos was raining at the morning. I woke up and opened the window. The sky was grey and the first raindrops had already soaked the road. The chalk written "hello September" has already disappeared. Melancholia. Autumn does its best to prove that is here for good! So, there is nothing better than pancakes to say "Welcome". Pancakes with merenda or for those autumn lovers, pancakes with honey and cinammon. Yeah, a more autumnal choice. Make some pennants out of paper to celebrate the first raining days...celebrate...oh well...an attempt to avoid being melancholic and sad! Grab a book or draw something while enjoying rain! 

Note no.1: I haven't read "De profundis" by Oscar Wilde yet. I just loved the cover. Guilty!
